BlindLuck Studios Debuts a New Line of Family-Friendly Board Games at GTS 2005

Greenwood Village, CO, March 1, 2005 - Blind Luck Studios announced that they will debut a line of family-friendly board games at GTS 2005. The line includes three initial titles with plans for more to follow.

"Traditionally, American board games have been categorized in three ways: party games, children's games and specialty games for hardcore hobbyists. Our mission is to break down the barriers between these groups and create games that appeal to a broad spectrum of gamers at every level," states Scott Lininger, BlindLuck Studios Creative Director. When asked about the Blind Luck Studios philosophy, he continued, "Games shouldn't take more than a few minutes to learn and they should be playable in under a couple of hours. Board games are an ideal activity for the entire family."

BlindLuck Studios invites retailers to visit their booth (B04) March 15-17, 2005 in Las Vegas at the GAMA Trade Show 2005. The company will be demoing three titles to retailers interested in acquiring this exciting new line of board games for their stores. Erich Wambach, President, asserts, "Retailers and consumers alike will be pleased with the playability and production values of our games and all at a price point that should help our games move quickly through channels." Retailers may make appointments if they wish.

Available for retailer review will be:
  • Caravans of Ahldarahd: As the leader of a powerful merchant clan, you must carefully plan the trade routes that will make your family rich. Build fleets and caravans to control commerce in key cities, and view for rights of passage to your rival's island. This game, the first from Blind Luck Studios, is designed for 2-5 players, ages 10 and up, and debuts in May. Suggested MSRP is $34.95.

  • Children of Fire: Choose from one of five celestial factions vying to fulfill a prophecy that will determine the outcome of all mankind. The backdrop for this struggle is an early twentieth century London where politicians, bankers, crime lords, and church leaders try to shape the future. Releasing in August, this game is designed for 2-5 players, ages 12 and above. Suggested MSRP is $34.95.

  • The Pitch: TV Edition: Step into the role of a TV Executive competing to get your shows on the air. Combine Character, Plot, and Twist cards into broadcast classics like Vampy the Buffalo Slayer, Swapping Pants, and Pokechu Bites Again! The player whose shows get the most laughs will beat out the competition and walk away with millions, but only if they can keep their audience! This game is designed for 5 or more players, ages 8 and above. Suggested MSRP is $34.95. This fast and fun game will hit store shelves in October just in time for Christmas sales.
